I believe in keeping taxes low, keeping our economy strong, and keeping government focused on serving the people.

I also believe that the debt-and-spend mentality was a bad idea for us and our economy, as proven by recent events on Wall Street and across the country.

Most of all, I believe the middle class is the foundation of our society. In the next few pages, I lay out my plan to strengthen our economy and strengthen the middle class. It begins by describing who we are—and who we want to be—as a state. It then describes a seven-point plan to get us there.
